A Foodies Care Partner is a qualified nonprofit organization that works alongside Foodies Care to raise awareness, recruit volunteers, and generate support through community events and fundraising opportunities.

Rather than nonprofits planning and managing their own fundraising events, Foodies Care provides the venue, marketing, volunteer support, and event management so our partners can focus on what they do best: serving the community.

Foodies Care helps nonprofits grow their impact through fundraising events, donor awareness, volunteer recruitment through VOLintel, marketing exposure, grants, business and community relationships, and collaboration with other nonprofit organizations.

Our goal is simple: help good organizations do even more good.

Foodies Care is itself a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to strengthen organizations serving our communities. Funds retained by Foodies Care help cover event planning, expenses, insurance, permits, logistics, donation processing, volunteer technology, marketing, sponsor recruitment, grants, and programs that benefit partner nonprofits.

It is fundraising made easier. Partners focus on inviting supporters, sharing their mission, and building relationships while Foodies Care handles the planning behind the scenes.

For fundraising conducted through the general link on the Foodies Care Partner page, 70% of net proceeds are distributed to the designated partner organization, while 30% supports Foodies Care’s mission of creating fundraising opportunities, volunteer initiatives, grants, technology, and community partnerships that strengthen nonprofits.

Because both organizations are qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofits, charitable contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Benefits may include fundraising opportunities, a personalized partner webpage, volunteer recruitment through VOLintel, event participation opportunities, social media and newsletter promotion, a website listing and organization profile, networking opportunities, eligibility for Foodies Care grants, donated marketing support when available, and invitations to partner appreciation or networking events.

VOLintel is Foodies Care’s volunteer engagement platform. Partners can use VOLintel to post volunteer opportunities, recruit volunteers, track volunteer hours, verify service hours, communicate with volunteer teams, and help students or employees document community service.

Becoming a partner is simple:

1. Complete the Partner Application.
2. Our team reviews your application.
3. Once approved, we schedule a brief onboarding meeting.
4. Your organization receives access to partner resources and upcoming fundraising opportunities.

We welcome nonprofit organizations that align with Foodies Care’s mission of serving communities through compassion, collaboration, and meaningful impact.

There is no upfront investment required to become a Foodies Care Partner. Foodies Care is sustained through the portion of fundraising proceeds retained to cover operating events, volunteer recruitment, marketing, and community engagement that benefit all partner organizations.

Absolutely. Many partner organizations participate in several Foodies Care events each year, creating multiple opportunities to raise funds, recruit volunteers, and introduce their mission to new supporters.

Yes. Partners can share volunteer opportunities through VOLintel and connect with individuals looking to serve in the community. Volunteers can track and verify service hours, making the platform especially valuable for students, employee volunteer programs, and community groups.

Yes. Foodies Care is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and our nonprofit partners are qualified charitable organizations. Charitable contributions made through Foodies Care are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

If a fundraising event includes goods or services, such as meals or entertainment, the deductible portion will be determined in accordance with IRS guidelines.

Hosting a successful fundraiser requires months of planning, marketing, sponsorships, volunteers, insurance, vendors, ticketing, payment processing, and event management.

Foodies Care takes on much of that work so your team can spend the evening engaging with supporters instead of worrying about logistics.

Foodies Care partners with registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations whose missions align with our commitment to feeding the hungry, sheltering those experiencing housing insecurity, protecting vulnerable populations, and building up future difference-makers.

Each application is reviewed individually to ensure a strong partnership and reevaluated on an annual basis.

Yes. Foodies Care proudly partners with both faith-based and secular nonprofit organizations. We believe communities are strengthened when organizations work together toward a common goal of serving others.

Absolutely. When a donor contributes through a partner organization’s fundraising page or purchases tickets through that organization’s event link, 70% of funds support that specific nonprofit’s fundraising efforts and 30% supports the mission of Foodies Care.

Partner distributions are made once grants are complete or after the partnered fundraising event has concluded and all proceeds have been reconciled. Organizations receive a summary of their fundraising activity along with their distribution.

Partners may receive a dedicated profile page, social media promotion, email newsletter features, recognition at fundraising events, opportunities to be highlighted through media and marketing partners, inclusion in volunteer and community outreach initiatives, and exposure to new donors, volunteers, businesses, and community leaders.

Foodies Care combines fundraising, volunteer engagement, marketing, community partnerships, and leadership development under one mission. We strive to build long-term relationships that help partners grow their visibility, volunteer base, financial support, and community impact.

Yes. Eligible partners may have access to grant opportunities throughout the year, including event sponsorship grants, community and board member matching grants, volunteer incentive grants, marketing support, scholarship initiatives, and other special funding opportunities as they become available.

Grant availability varies based on funding and program requirements.

We encourage partners to invite volunteers and supporters to participate, but Foodies Care coordinates the overall event planning and volunteer management. Our goal is to make participation as easy as possible so your team can spend more time building relationships with donors and sharing your mission.

Foodies Care manages many behind-the-scenes responsibilities, including event planning, venue relationships, sponsorship recruitment, marketing, online ticketing and donation processing, payment processing, insurance, volunteer coordination, auction and raffle support when applicable, and day-of event logistics.

Partners who experience the greatest success typically invite board members, volunteers, and supporters to attend events, share their personalized fundraising page through email and social media, encourage supporters to purchase tickets through their partner link, recruit volunteers through VOLintel, and engage with attendees during events to tell their organization’s story.

Businesses can support Foodies Care and its nonprofit partners by sponsoring events, purchasing event tickets, donating auction items or services, becoming monthly supporters, encouraging employee volunteerism, providing in-kind donations, hosting community events, and sharing partner organizations with customers and employees.
