How Will ACF Use the Funds? Funds and charitable donations received by Awakening Christian Fellowship (ACF) will be used to expand our ability to serve, educate, equip, and provide resources to individuals and families throughout our community. Our goal is to invest these resources directly into programs that address immediate needs while also creating opportunities for education, independence, and long-term stability. Community Outreach Funds will help ACF organize and support free community outreach events, including: * Feeding individuals and families experiencing food insecurity * Distributing food, clothing, hygiene products, diapers, household necessities, and other essential resources * Community beautification and neighborhood service projects * Family and youth events * Purchasing supplies and materials needed for outreach * Providing free admission or seats to educational and community activities ACF Micro-School A portion of funding will support our vision to establish an ACF Micro-School, creating a smaller, supportive educational environment designed to provide students with quality instruction, individualized attention, enrichment opportunities, and resources to help them succeed academically. Funding may assist with educational materials, technology, curriculum, facility needs, instructors, student resources, and program development. GED & Adult Education ACF plans to provide GED preparation and adult education opportunities for individuals who want to complete their high-school equivalency and continue toward employment, college, vocational training, or other educational goals. Our goal is to reduce financial barriers by offering these programs free or at little cost whenever funding allows. Driver Education We also want to provide driver education and preparation courses to help youth and adults develop the knowledge and skills necessary to become safe, responsible drivers. Transportation can be a major barrier to employment and education. Helping individuals work toward obtaining a driver’s license can increase their access to jobs, school, healthcare, and greater independence. Financial Literacy & Economic Empowerment Funding will allow ACF to offer free financial literacy courses and workshops covering practical topics such as: * Budgeting and money management * Credit education and credit improvement * Saving and banking * Debt management * Preparing for homeownership * Understanding financial products and services * Entrepreneurship and basic business education * Building long-term financial stability and generational wealth
