Driving Change

About

Supporters, community leaders, and local businesses gathered at Palm Valley Golf Club for Foodies Care’s “Driving Change,” an afternoon focused on connection, community impact, and giving back. Guests enjoyed networking opportunities and participated in activities including the 1 Stick Challenge, Dizzy Putt, Longest Drive, Bourbon Putting Challenge, and Hole in One competition. The event featured live music from retired Air Force veteran Joey Anderson and a live edition of “The Horse’s Mouth,” hosted by Tom McManus, which kept attendees entertained throughout the afternoon. Guests also enjoyed food from Zaxby’s, craft beer from Veterans United Craft Brewery, and mocktails provided by Cornbread. The silent auction and bourbon raffle were highlights of the event, bringing excitement while helping support meaningful causes. Foodies Care extends a heartfelt thank you to sponsors Coldwell Banker Anabasis Realty and Safe Carts, as well as Daily News Network for bringing “The Horse’s Mouth” live to Driving Change. The event proudly supported Girls of Virtue, Annie Ruth Foundation, Operation Barnabas, Hands4Life, and REthreaded and the important work they do to strengthen the community every day.
