Joanne Kazmierski (Elect)

Joanne Kazmierski, CTL, is the CEO and founder of Global Business Logistix, LLC, and serves as the Executive Director of the Florida Supply Chain Summit, the state’s premier annual conference connecting industry, education, economic development, and government leaders to strengthen Florida’s supply chain ecosystem. She is also a highly accomplished grant writer, project manager, strategic communications professional, and workforce development leader.

Joanne brings more than 25 years of experience in workforce and economic development within the port, transportation, logistics, and supply chain industries through leadership roles with the Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT), the Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA), and Global Business Logistix.

Throughout her career, Joanne has served on grant writing teams awarded more than $500 million for logistics, transportation, infrastructure, workforce, and economic development projects across the United States. She has personally authored state and federal grants totaling more than $100 million, supporting afterschool programs, youth development, food security initiatives, and community services that positively impact more than 10,000 children each day throughout Northeast Florida. Collectively, the grants she has helped secure have supported the creation and retention of more than 600 jobs across the region.

As Executive Director of the Florida Supply Chain Summit, Joanne leads the strategic planning and execution of one of Florida’s premier industry events, bringing together executives, educators, policymakers, and economic development professionals to address emerging trends, workforce challenges, innovation, resilience, and the future of global commerce.

Joanne currently serves as President of IABC Florida, a chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators, and as President of the JAX Chamber Transportation & Logistics Council, where she works closely with business leaders to advance transportation, logistics, manufacturing, and supply chain initiatives throughout Northeast Florida.

Her professional accomplishments have earned numerous honors, including being nominated as the 2010 U.S. Small Business Administration Regional Minority Small Business Champion of the Year for Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina, and South Carolina. She was also recognized as the 2022 JAX Chamber Transportation & Logistics Council Small Business Leader of the Year.

Joanne holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Business Administration from the University of South Florida in Tampa. She and her husband, Dave, have been married for 34 years and have two children. Their daughter, Jessica, earned her International MBA from IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain, and works for Atlas Air. Their son, Justin, resides in Raleigh, North Carolina, and works for On Location, the global leader in premium hospitality and event experiences for marquee sporting events, including the Super Bowl, NCAA Championships, Ryder Cup, and Olympic Games.
