Short company description:

$1,000 Start-Ups works to break the cycle of poverty by offering an entrepreneurship, financial management, and life skill training program at no cost to members of traditionally underserved communities. The program includes business start-up and growth funding of up to $1,000 to those who complete the program.


How do you define success?

Doing work that’s meaningful and makes a difference.


What’s your favorite way to get involved in the community?

By building a consortium of entrepreneurs who work together to grow their businesses.
